Can you believe it's been 4 years since we arranged an Employee Ownership buy-out of South Cerney Outdoor?
We've done a lot over those four short years and made many changes that have been a long time coming. Amazing what you can do when a small team, with a joined up vision come together to make things happen.
We've have some challenges, some wonderful triumphs and some sadness along the way, but most of all we have got to meet and work with some of the most wonderful people.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement in our journey... We're looking forward to sharing the next exciting plans in out adventure real soon.

AUGUST FAMILY FUN FEST
Our open days have been so popular this year, that we have decided to squeeze two into August so everyone gets a chance to experience the activities and the lake at a really accessible ticket price.
Three hours, five activities and only £24 is as close as we can make it to credit-crunch-beating prices. Tickets are already on sale and starting to be snapped up.
There is something for all the family to enjoy with just 240 tickets available for both morning and afternoon on each day.
Choose from Sunday 6th August and Sunday 20th August - Or both if you fancy it!!

PAY & PLAY
August's Pay & Play is available to book now, so if you are making plans with family or friends, be sure to book yours early as August is peak time for water sports and activities in the Cotswold Water Park.
Paddleboards, Canoes, Kayaks, Katakanus and our Sky Line Aerial Adventure are available every day during the school holiday to have fun with the whole family.

HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES & COURSES
Our summer courses and Discovery Club have proved exceptionally popular this year with places on sailing courses being snapped up and filled well in advance.
We have just added squeezed some additional availability for Stages 1, 2 and 3 into August, but places are very limited to check soon if you missed out on the original release.
Due to the popularity of Archery at our Open Day in June, we have persuaded the coaches that helped us to put on a Six Week Introduction to Archery course on Saturdays for us.
It starts on Saturday 12th August and is open to children and adults from age 8+. Check out the link for details and dates.
This year we have increased our Discovery Club places to 30 on most days - Still maintaining small groups of up to 10 to ensure everyone has a great time, and places have been very popular with the inclusion of our High Ropes activities in the programme this year.
We still have places available in the later part of August so if you are looking to find an activity to engage and entertain the kids around any holiday plans you have, check them out before they're gone.
Available five days a week during the school holidays, Discovery Club has an exciting line-up of activities to keep your little ones entertained... From sailing to kayaking, paddleboarding to high ropes, survival skills to raft building and even archery - There's something for everyone.

TASTER EXPERIENCES
Whether an adult or child, if you want to dip your toe into a range of water sports, we have taster experiences available on Weekends and Wednesdays throughout the summer.
Whether its kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing or archery, we offer 2-3 hour experiences with an instructor taking you through the essentials to give you a flavour of what it is like. All our tasters are mixed activities, so you are welcome to join as a family in the same session.

With Summer hopefully getting into full swing any day now and paddleboarding being the hot ticket of the moment, we thought you might like a head start before you visit.

Right now we are about to start selection for our next group of Instructor Apprentices.
We have just been ranked the Top SME Leisure Apprentice Employer No.17 out of all SME Apprentice Employers. Super proud of the team for the work they do in helping people develop the skills and experience to start new careers in an industry we love.
We have five top guys and girls due to graduate their Outdoor Instructor Apprenticeship this coming October and we are now taking applicants for our 2023 intake. If you're looking for the start in a new career in the outdoor industry, or looking for a change of career and away from the office roles... this could be just up your street.
