Over the winter season we have been working on our development plans for Lake 12 and unfortunately we have come to the difficult decision that we will not be able to offer our open water swimming this year.

With the growth of all areas of the business over the last couple of years it has become necessary for us to focus on the core activities we offer and at times last year the popularity of swimming and additional demands on the facilities conflicted with this.

I know this will be disappointing for you and I promise you, it is not a decision we have taken lightly. Over the last month or so, we have been working with our friends at Lake 86 (Cotswold Water Park Hire) and they have looked to adapt their programme to help serve your needs with additional swimming times and safety cover.

Tom and Josh and their team have worked with us for many years and I can wholeheartedly recommend them as an alternative option in addition to Waterland at Lake 32.

Lake 86 will be offering the following swim options:
Throughout April swimming will be available during weekends and school holidays 9:30-4:00pm
From the 1st of May the times are as follows:
Monday - 9:30–4:00
Tuesday - 9:30–8:00
Wednesday - 9:30–4:00
Thursday - 9:30–4:00
Friday - 9:30–8:00
Saturday - 8:00–9:30am (additional safety cover)
9:30–4:00
Sunday - 9:00–4:00

Other than Saturday morning, safety cover will be provided from the bank, on Saturday morning they plan to offer additional safety cover in the same way we did.

Thank you for your support over the last couple of years. We hope to be able to offer an Open Water Swim event or two during the season and we are still working with Jason Tait of South West Swim who will continue to offer private and small group coaching with us.
