THE NATIONAL CITIZEN SERVICE (NCS)

The NCS is the fastest growing movement of young people for over 100 years!

NCS is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all 15 to 17 year olds to build confidence and help get ahead in work and life. We work towards creating a more cohesive, responsible and engaged society by bringing young people from very different backgrounds together to make a mark on their communities.

The NCS programme is truly an experience that changes lives. Participants taking part will have the opportunity to take on new challenges, learn new skills and make lots of new friends along the way. Recognised by UCAS and a growing number of employers, NCS equips participants with the right skills and attitudes to transform them into the leaders of tomorrow.

At South Cerney Outdoor, Prospects work across the South Gloucestershire and Salisbury area with schools, colleges and youth organisations to encourage as many young people as possible to join the NCS movement and have an amazing experience.

The programme is open to young people from the ages of 15-17 and costs a maximum of £50 (Free places and bursaries are available based on personal circumstances).

If you would like more information regarding the NCS programme you can visit our national webpage on www.ncswest.co.uk
