We've always shared our love of the great outdoors with you, but it has long been our ambition to bring you the best coffee, cakes and other indulgences we can find to enjoy in the gorgeous surroundings of Lake 12.

Of course, we're not just about the coffee and cake and have just as much to offer the tea drinkers, savoury appreciators and youngsters amongst you.

Our offering is continually growing to provide our guests with a truly wonderful and unique experience.

We welcome walkers, cyclists and dogs who are enjoying days out in the Cotswolds and have a wonderful wood burning stove to keep you warm on the colder days or the best lakeside views when weather allows.

Whether you're just visiting or enjoying family activities in the Cotswolds at South Cerney Outdoor, The Lodge is the perfect place to relax and enjoy come rain or shine.

The Cafe

The Café at the lodge is well placed to offer customers of South Cerney as well as walkers and cyclists in the area a range of tasty snacks and drinks.

It is particularly well suited to walkers looking for somewhere to stop for a short break and to have some refreshments. We are dog friendly and free puppuccinos are available for all dog visitors. 

Protecting the Environment

From start to finish, we have done our best to reduce, reuse and recycle to protect the environment we love to work and play in.

Built from recycled shipping containers, The Lodge is clad in sustainable larch; floored with recycled composite decking boards and walls of recycled pallet wood, we want to do our bit to minimise our impact on the planet. All our cups and lids are compostable.

The Food

Our lakeside location is the ideal place to enjoy some delicious made-to-order street food dishes prepared by our Michelin trained chef. Once served, guests can choose to take it away or eat at one of our many seating areas overlooking Lake 12.

The ingredients are locally sourced where possible to provide mouth-watering dishes.
