The KataKanu is a brilliantly innovative and versatile craft, created by joining two kayaks in a catamaran formation. South Cerney Outdoor has introduced the KataKanu onto our glorious 47 acre lake at the Cotswold Water Park as a great new fixture in our family orientated Pay and Play Programme

Each KataKanu is 5 metres long and 2 metres wide, seating up to six people in total. It is a very safe and stable craft due to its double-kayak structure, which also allows for easy communication between the two sets of paddlers, adding to the fun and team spirit. It is also very light, buoyant and easy to handle.

We have all the necessary equipment available for enjoying KataKanu activities in the Cotswold Water Park at £30 for 55 minutes as well as modern changing facilities, extensive picnic areas and experienced instructors on hand for advice and support. We can also supply supplementary equipment to support your KataKanu hire such as wetsuits, waterproofs and helmets if these are needed.
