Learn to become an RYA Dinghy Sailing Instructor with these internationally recognised courses.

5 days 9:00am - 5:30pm

Become an RYA Dinghy Instructor (DI) and start a career inspiring and teaching the next generation. A 5-day instructor training course – you will learn and practice effective communication styles and teaching methods. Guided throughout and assessed by RYA coach assessors, you will be well on your way to becoming an excellent instructor.

This course requires the following pre-requisites: RYA Powerboat Level 2, minimum 8hr First Aid, RYA Safe and Fun and the RYA Pre-Assessment. 

1 day 9:00am - 5:30pm

An RYA pre-requisite for the RYA Dinghy Instructor course is that ALL candidates must have passed this assessment, conducted by an RYA Coach Assessor, prior to taking the RYA Dinghy Instructor course. 

You must be aged 16 years + to take the RYA Pre Entry Assessment and be able to demonstrate the skills at the standard required by the RYA.
