I'm not too sure whether we can class what we've just been through as a summer, but It's great to have seen so many of you making the most of it over the month of August through courses, boat hire and family activities.

Looking ahead to September, here is what you can expect from us... and some great opportunities for both adults and children to get on courses and training over the weekends.

Our September Pay & Play is now active and available to book.
With the poor showing in August, we are hoping we might get a late heat wave into September so be sure to book in advance as weekends will likely be very busy.

Due to lower than normal staffing numbers this year, we will be unable to offer Pay & Play on Thursday mornings or Fridays during September and October.
Our Pay & Play availability is released each month for the following month, so you'll be able to book activities in October from Friday 17th September.

Summer has been fully booked with all our taster sessions, courses and holiday Discovery Club. If you have missed out, take a look at our options on weekends in September to get that fix before the colder months kick in.

We will also be releasing our October half term courses in the next couple of weeks with options to take your sailing to the next level, Discovery Club and taster experiences to choose from.

Day Launches will be returning during our regular opening hours in September. These will be released by the end of the month to book.
Launch memberships will be available to use throughout the winter 7 days a week. You'll need to book in and have your kit checked by one of our senior instructors on the first visit, but then check in will be available through The Lodge once the main centre closes at weekends.

We have a very special treat in store that we are developing in September and October... Taking our Lodge vision to the next level and building for 2022. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook to find out when things start to happen.

Our Outdoor Instructor Apprenticeship programme is currently open for applications. If you know someone age 18+ that is looking for a new career and loves the outdoors, this could be the opportunity for them. We spend a year training, qualifying and experiencing them in a range of water and land-based activities that set them up for a career in this great industry.

Forward on the link to our Apprenticeship Information page and get them to watch the video which tells them all they need to know. The deadline for applications is looming so don't delay.

Enjoy the last few weeks of the summer hols and thank you for your support and smiles and wonderful feedback over this challenging 18 months.
