We’ve had a range of questions about what our activities over the recent weeks and have put together a helpful (but slightly tongue in cheek) Frequently Asked Questions page. As reception is unmanned and emails not monitored at present due to staffing levels, please check the FAQ first, before dropping us any questions on Facebook.
Please bear with us during these challenging times. We are operating on about 20% of the staffing levels we normally have at this time of year and our business has been significantly impacted and restricted by COVID-19.

PAY & PLAY
From Tuesday 21st July, our Covid-safe Pay & Play will be available 7 days a week for Canoeing, Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Launch. Katakanu hire will be made available for weekends only at this time.
At this time, we are not offering sailing or windsurfing hire due to the limitations on staffing resources and the increased challenge of managing contamination of equipment.
Our current Pay & Play activities are designed to allow you to get out and enjoy the lake with family or friends for an hour and during the ongoing crisis, we remind you that toilet and changing room facilities will not be available and we do not permit staying around the site for picnics or socialising.

COURSES
Courses and holiday activities are operating with reduced numbers this year to meet government guidelines and our own risk assessments of how to make them safe for all involved.
Our children's Discovery Club and Sailing courses have proved popular as always and we are now in a position to open up some additional places for these during the summer.
Places will be released from 10:00am on Thursday 16th July on a first come first served basis. If the course you are looking for is not showing availability, it is likely that it is full already or we have been unable to introduce this activity at this time.
We are unable to add additional courses based on demand and decisions to open up spaces are based on our ability to deliver and staff them safely.
New courses may have different times to those of our standard activities in order to stagger start times and access to key areas, so check your booking tickets for confirmation of times.
We have also been able to add additional Taster Experiences and a new Family Discovery Day experience at weekends.
Changing room and toilet facility use will be limited to courses only and have specific additional hygiene and access control in place to manage this.

ADDITIONAL COVID-19 CONTROL MEASURES
- A maximum of 5 people will be in each instructed group
- Group start times will be staggered to minimise cross over
- Changing room and toilet access is limited to day course customers only
- Additional hygiene measures are in place in all areas
- Check in is outside reception
- Lunch will be outside where possible, or groups of 5 inside in bad weather
- All equipment is treated with antiviral cleanser after use
