A taster session is a good way to find out
how easy it is to learn to sail before going on
an Introductory course |

Start
Sailing - RYA 1 & 2

An Introductory course includes basic boat
handling, how to be safe and what to do if the
boat capsizes. You will learn how to sail a figure
of eight course returning to the point you started
from. Following this course you can continue to
sail by attending Practice Sessions. |

Pre-requisite:
RYA Stage 1 & 2 |

During a Practice Session you can do a number of things
including practicing, completing skills learnt on Stage
1 & 2, getting back into sailing if you have not
sailed for a while, or try sailing a Topper or a Pico
if you did an Oppie course. |


Start
Sailing - RYA Stage 3

This course will start by re-capping on the skills
learnt on the Stage 1 & 2 course and then build
on these basic skills to develop your ability to sail
upwind and downwind in light winds. To continue sailing
after this course you can choose to attend a number
of Practice Sessions or decide to go on the Sailing
Expedition. |


Improvers Double -
Handed Sailing - RYA Stage 4

Learn to sail with a partner to a competent level. Improve
your speed through the water and learn to turn effectively.
This can lead to a RYA Stage 4 |
Advanced Sailing
Advanced Module
Seamanship Skills

Learn to sail in stronger winds, anchor and adapt
the dinghy to the prevailing conditions. For those
who have RYA stage 4. |

Start Racing

Learn to prepare the boat and gain the basics
of racing. You will learn to start and sail tactically
using the rules to race effectively. For those
who have RYA stage 4. |
