Qualified and Experienced Staff
The SCOEC team of instructors are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very experienced at working with groups of young people and delivering programmes which are fun, safe and a learning experience.
All of the instructors are qualified to National Governing Body standards and meet the requirements of the Gloucestershire County Council activity guidelines. For rafting, the low ropes course and problem solving, where no NGB qualification exists, instructors will have completed an SCOEC training course.
Outdoor education to the highest standards
SCOEC has built up over the past 28 years on this site a reputation both within Gloucestershire and nationally, for consistently providing outdoor education to the highest standards. This is achieved by the team being committed to maintaining the already existing high standards, regular reviews that identify where improvements can be introduced, recruiting experienced instructors and then developing them further and selecting the best up to date equipment.
