The crystal clear waters of the 47 acre lake at South Cerney are just the place for developing and improving your canoeing skills. Our open Canadian canoes can be operated singularly or in pairs or even in ‘threes’ if you want to add a ‘little one’ to the crew. In fact, we think that canoeing is a great way to imporve team building and collaborative skills because if you’re not working as a team, the chances are you’ll end up nowhere (or around in circles!). However, we are also pretty confident that it won’t take long for you to hone those coordinated paddling skills and you’ll be leaving everyone else in your wake.

Available at just £25 for a 55 minute hire, canoe hire at South Cerney makes for a great value day out. We are ideally situated for any enthusiast wishing to use our facilities for canoe hire. Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Berkshire are all within easy reach of our Gloucestershire location. We have also found that visitors that have come from further afield are always glad that they’ve made the journey!

If it’s been a while or it’s your first time in a canoe, you’ll need an induction, just to make sure you are safe and comfortable with what you’re doing. It makes us feel happier too. Therefore, we recommend booking your canoe hire in advance to avoid disappointment.

As well as providing the canoe, we can also supply you with all the extra gear you might need – paddles, wetsuits, waterproofs and buoyancy aids – to stay safe, dry and warm.
