OUTDOOR EDUCATION

Taking part in any of the activities at SCOEC will be fun and enjoyable. If you are a complete beginner, don't worry, your instructor will tell you all you need to know, be able to answer any questions and assist whenever necessary. Learning an activity requires you to develop a combination of sports skills and personal skills of working in a team, being independent, making decisions, solving problems and communication. As you get older you can continue to participate in watersports by joining a club or by going on an activity holiday. The other skills that you develop will be essential as you get older, when you leave school and go into further education or start work.
